I'm 5'6" and took the L specifically so I could get a hoodie under it. There's room. Didn't have to size up twice like I do with every other coat.

Take your usual size. Our fit reference is 5'7" and wears the M with a hoodie underneath — there is room for it. The body is cut straight rather than boxy, so it doesn't add width at the hip.
Between two sizes, stay with the smaller one unless you plan to layer a thick knit under it every day. The hem hits mid-calf on 5'6"–5'8".
Wool-blend outer with a smooth full lining, including through the sleeves. Heavy to look at, light to wear — it doesn't drag on the shoulders after an hour.
Dry clean, or air it out and steam the creases. Don't machine wash it: that is what breaks the shape on a structured coat. Full composition is on the label inside.
Orders are processed within 1–2 business days. You'll receive a tracking link by email as soon as your package ships.
You have 30 days from delivery to return an item, unworn and with its tags. Full detail in our shipping and refund policies.

What it actually looks like on a normal Tuesday.

Wore it over a hoodie
I'm 5'6" and took the L specifically so I could get a hoodie under it. There's room. Didn't have to size up twice like I do with every other coat.

The collar doesn't ride up
Sounds like a small thing but every long coat I've owned rubs at the neck by the end of the day. This one lays flat and stays there.

Warm, but check the length
No complaints on the coat itself. Just be aware it's genuinely mid-calf — I'm 5'2" and it sits close to my ankle. Still wearing it, just wasn't what I pictured.

Bought a second one
Got the camel in October and the black three weeks later. That's how much it gets worn.

The body is cut with space through the chest and back, so a hoodie or a thick knit goes underneath without pulling across the shoulders. That's why most people take their usual size rather than going up.
The lining runs the full length of the arm, so it slides on over a knit instead of bunching at the elbow. Inner button holds the wrap closed, and the collar is cut to lay flat rather than ride up.
Yes, in your usual size. The body is cut with room through the chest and back. Only size up if you plan to wear a thick cable knit under it every day.
Mid-calf. On 5'6"–5'8" it sits just below the knee; on 5'2" it comes closer to the ankle. If you're under 5'4" and want it clear of the ankle, this isn't the length for you.
No. It looks like a heavy coat but the wool blend is light on the shoulders — you can wear it through a full day without feeling it.
No. Dry clean, or steam it and air it between wears. Machine washing is what ruins the shape on a structured coat.
